Environment variables, plugin config, and optional narration dry-run with ElevenLabs.
ElevenLabs API key
Create an API key with Text to Speech and Voices → Read, then set ELEVENLABS_API_KEY in your Strapi .env. You can rely on process.env if apiKey is omitted from config/plugins.ts.
Optional environment variables

ELEVENLABS_API_KEY | Provider authentication (recommended via env() in config). |
ELEVENLABS_MODEL_ID | Defaults to eleven_multilingual_v2 when unset in config. |
CONTENT_NARRATION_TTS_DRY_RUN | When true, runs the pipeline with a placeholder MP3 and no POST /v1/text-to-speech (no ElevenLabs charges). |
Advanced plugin options
Per the upstream README, you can tune sources, default voices, and block-type allowlists from Content-Type Builder once the narration field is added.
